The 18-hole PGA golf course was designed by Dave Thomas, and is described by Sam Torrence as one of the best in Europe. Three other courses are within 15 mins drive. Please ask for more information including a discount on green fees when you stay with us. You also have access to a beach club located on La Manga strip offering a supervised pool, Jacuzzi, solarium, restaurant, and bar. It's located on the other side of the Mar Menor but is easy to get to by car or short ferry ride.
To the south is the bustling port of Cartegena offering fantastic bay side restaurants; to the north is the regions capital Murcia with its stunning Cathedral & cultural events. There are two outdoor karting circuits within 20 minutes drive, a cinema (showing English language films weekly), and in Los Alcazares many boutique shops in the old town. A huge newly-built shopping complex is 15 minutes south. The sandy beach (5 mins drive) offers water sports, cafes and bars.

£100 to secure booking.
Balance and £150 security deposit due 6 weeks prior to departure. Security deposit returned following property inspection at end of stay.
Weekend rates are also available, as are long term rentals, please call for details.
We will do everything we can to ensure you get the dates you want but cannot guarantee those dates before a deposit is placed to secure them. We try to be flexible in the duration of your stay and cater for the short weekend breathers through week holidays to long term stays and you can start on any day of the week to take advantage of the cheaper flights.

We would like to help make your stay as easy and pleasant as possible, so do feel free to contact us for further details/information. Rental lengths and start days are totally flexible to tie in with cheap flight options. We can provide advice on car hire and also local attractions - such as National Parks, water parks/zoos, cinemas, festivals, and spa centers. Should any emergencies arise we have someone locally whom you can call for assistance.
A welcome pack can be ordered and is especially useful for late arrival times (includes basic breakfast items, but can be tailored if required - costs €20). There is also a small convenience shop on site, or two supermarkets within 5 mins drive.
If you have a large group, do still contact us as we know the owners of apartments close by and so can assist with bookings of more than 6.
The Mar Menor area is one of the sunniest in Spain with over 300 days sunshine a year. However, should the weather turn we have provided a Sony PlayStation games console with a library of games, a DVD player, as well as a few board games and books. Cable TV gives access to a dozen or so British TV channels.
Golf Information
Roda's 18 hole par 72 PGA golf course is designed by Dave Thomas. A 20% discount on green fees is available for the duration of your stay at Roda Golf and Beach Resort. On site is a pro-shop where clubs can be hired. Tuition is also available. A large floodlit driving range is also on-site. There are three further golf courses within a 15 minute drive of the resort, and three more within a 30-minute drive.
Beach information
The beach is less than a mile away and offers a wide variety of beach sports, cafes and restaurants. It is found right next to the winding cobbled roads of the Old Town with it's boutique shops.
Restaurant Facilities
An excellent restaurant and bar is located on-site in the Clubhouse (for which there is a 10% discount). Roda village has an excellent restaurant, and a little further away in the local town there are dozens more choices (less than 5 mins drive) - including Chinese, Fish & Steak speciality, Indian, World/Fusion, Italian, and Spanish cuisine.
