Corralejo is the largest resort on Fuerteventura and has grown from a small fishing village to a large vibrant resort with something to suit everyone. The one thing you will not find here is 18-30s holidays and large clubs. The island is known for being more peaceful than its neighbours, you can relax by the pool or on one of the hundreds of golden beaches during the day and then enjoy a good meal in one of the numerous bars and restaurants in the town, you will find Spanish, English, Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants. You will find may of the bars have entertainment in the form of live music, quizzes, bingo etc.
Corralejo is home to the Baku park which is home to the waterpark, animal experience, twice weekly market, bowling alley and mini-golf. Each part has its own opening hours and entrance charges.
A 5 minute walk from the complex is the El Campanario shopping centre. This pretty complex is laid out to look like a traditional canairan town and is well worth a visit on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month when there is a market with traditional canarian fair available to buy and sample.
For serious shoppers why not take a trip to the islands capital Puerto del Rosario and visit the Las Rotundas Shopping Centre. There are 200 shops in here including C&A which is extremely popular with English visitors.
