Thailand > South > Koh Samui > Bophut
Samui: Thailand’s third largest island, is chosen time and again as a great destination for honeymooners and holidaymakers alike for its amazing beauty and excellent attractions. Tall coconut trees, rocky hills, dense mountainous jungle, secret coves, white sandy beaches and warm seas characterize this beautiful island. Complete (surprisingly) with its own airport Koh Samui and the Papillon residence are easy places to visit.
There are all sorts of sporting activities available to choose from and so many sights to see and places to go night or day you wont want to sleep. The restaurants are superb and offer first rate food, settings, service and music at good prices, There are many bars, clubs and party's in Samui too. Too many and you can find one on any day of the week (excl budda night - Thai's equivalent to Bank holiday Monday). not just the weekend. There's big Half Moon / Full moon beach parties, black moon parties, No ! moon parties, any old excuse for a party, there's a party nearly every night and they last all night with some good sounds. There is little fighting or squabbling here with only the odd foreigner bringing his bad vibes to Thailand. No knife or gun crime ! there is so little crime here people leave there shops un-attended at times because they are confident nothing will get stolen ! people can seem to leave things lying around without the fear of getting things stolen.
There is so much to do. Here are just a few ideas I can think of. There is a Quad bike tour company, jet ski Island tours, Jungle safari treks to inland waterfalls, jungle & climbing tours, rock climbing, Ab-sailing, fishing tours, and that's just to name a few of them. There are so many leaflets for things to do in each of the many travel agents on the island so your have no problem finding out what is on offer. Visit many beautiful natural waterfalls around the island and there are many vehicle and motor bikes rental firms, visit and discover countless quiet (some completely deserted) beaches to explore and other islands to visit. A boat trip to another island can be booked at any one of the dozens on travel agents scattered around the island for any of samui's three sea ports. It will take a little over 1 hr to drive around the hole Island and I recommend it as there are some beautiful sites everywhere.
Another popular tourist attraction is the famous golden 45ft high big budda @ the temple. or if you like statues and traditional the monks retreat and home located in the inner jungle where they live in harmony.
Another place proving popular is the Samui Ice bar - cool ! everything including your glass is made out of ice. even the walls.

The Papillon residence: is based on 1200 Sqm of land in Plai Laem Beach - Koh Samui, and consists of 10 privately owned luxury studio's ideal for couples (i.e. Studio2), and 2 privately owned deluxe 2 bed apartments of various sizes suitable for family stays complete with a private (shared) Swimming pool & Jaccuzi.
Studio 2: is a Luxury seaview modern studio housed within the Papillon residence. Privately leased and promoted by the leaseholder studio 2 is managed by Samui Phangan properties and I am impressed with the staff and facilities. I have never stayed at such a nice place in Thailand and I am not just saying that because I am the leaseholder.
Suitable for 2 adults and up to one child max - a portable bed can be requested and children under ten stay free if shared the same apartment. Complete with a mini Kitchen, bathroom, tiled floors, double bed, dining area, storage/cub-board. Studio 2 is a pristinely clean, modern and comfortable (47sqm) Studio. A hotel service will / can be provided too, with security, reception, room service, and laundry. If guests do not wish to use there own kitchen there is a classy restaurant on site offering a large selection of Thai and western food. Studio 2 is fitted with additional extra's and comforts which are detailed below.
Based in an excellent location in Samui, 70 Meters from the Plai Laem beach the sea view is great and near the famous big budda with access to the white sandy beach & sea. Plai Laem is a quiet (posh) residential area based away from loud music etc, (peace is guaranteed) when required, but not too far from Chaweng and Lamai (The two most popular tourist areas - so I think its in a fantastic / ideal location)
Everything has been taken into consideration to provide you with the perfect place to stay for a fantastic holiday. It is a modern decorated fully furnished studio with beautiful traditional and artful/decorative furniture and the grounds are simply lit up beautifully at night (please view photo's below or visit photo gallery) also a parking space is available if you rent a car.
Because studio number 2 is part of a residence, all hotel services that you would expect from a good hotel are available and the grounds and reception are run and managed by pleasant and polite staff.

Internet bookings are subject to a good discount in comparison to walk in prices. There is also a generous 3 for 2 week promotional offer on Studio 2, which I think offers very good value for money for 2 person quality accommodation in Samui, A Loyalty Scheme, an Introduce a friend offer and 3 month special offers to be taken advantage of.

Loyalty scheme
Returning guests / clients can benefit from 10% off, and if you return once more a further 10% off up to a maximum of 30% off can be accumulated. The scheme is practically unheard of in rental practices and I am proud to be one of the first. The more times you stay/book the more discount you will receive. A £500 pound standard rate for consecutive months has been set, excluding Dec / Jan but a 3 month stay will earn you £100 pounds off the £1500 / £1600, 3 month tariff. It is difficult to find a Luxurious clean quiet studio apartment by the sea for 2 persons that is clean and comfortable as there are many more low standard rooms available. (rather than nice clean modern ones on the Island). I advise to plan it first, Stay at Studio 2 @ the Papillon residence and relax your staying at a gorgeous place in the right place (plai laem - the posh area) with all the services for a good price. I would like studio (no 2) and the Papillon residence to be a success and every guest happy with there destination and accommodation so have offered more for your money and promoted myself as I believe Koh Samui and the Papillon residence are fantastic locations and a memorable excellent place to visit / stay. I have personally stayed at many places in Thailand myself and Samui and found not ONE place that exceeds the Papillon residence and certainly not on price/Quality/cleanliness.
