Chudleigh Coach House is situated at East the Water which overlooks Bideford Town and the River Torridge. Bideford is known as the 'Little White Town' and is a lively market town full of antique shops, pubs, restaurants, art gallery and museum. The Quay is a working port with fishing vessels and pleasure crafts. There are regular boat trips to nearby Lundy Island. Running through Bideford is the Tarka Trail which once was a railway line and is now used by both visitors and locals for walking and cycling.
The following attractions are all within easy driving distances from Bideford, RHS Gardens Rosemoor, Hartland Quay (where Sense and Sensibility was filmed), Clovelly an unspoilt fishing village with steep cobbled streets, the twin towns of Lynton & Lynmouth know as Little Switzerland with The Valley of the Rocks where wild goats roam, Great Torrington with Dartington Crystal and 1646, Ilfracombe a Victorian Seaside town, Coombe Martin with Dinosaur Wildlife Park, Croyde famous for surfing, Woolacombe very long sandy beach, Westward Ho! long beach and The Burrows, Appledore a fishing village with shipyard, Dartmoor and Exmoor.
For children nearby are The Big Sheep, The Milky Way and North Devon Farm Park as well as lovely sandy beaches great for surfing and body boarding. Pony Trekking is also available on Dartmoor and Exmoor.
North Devon has a spectacular coastline and for those who like walking the South West Coastal footpath is a short drive from the property.

Bookings not accepted from persons under 18 years old. A deposit payment of 1/3rd of the total cost - of the holiday must accompany the booking request and then full payment required 8 weeks before start of holiday. Late bookings of under 8 weeks must be paid in full with the booking request. It is recommended that holiday insurance is taken out to cover cost of holiday in case of illness etc.
Dogs are welcome at the Coach House and a charge of 20.00 is made for each dog.
