Lagos is a very popular and busy resort in Western Algarve. It boasts beautiful beaches and coves that are clean and have easy access. The Old Town is surrounded by the medieval city wall (part of which is close to our apartment). Inside these walls there is a wide selection of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants to suit everybody's age and taste. There is a wide choice of restaurants including, English, Chinese, Italian, traditional Portuguese and even Pizza Hut so no need to worry about what to eat. You will often see local street entertainers in the square during the day and evening, performing traditional Portuguese Flamenco dancing, singing and puppet shows. Also festivals and events are celebrated here allowing you to share in traditional Portuguese Culture. The fresh fish market is open every day and is well worth having a look at. There is also the wonderful Marina where you can either take a stroll, book yourself onto a boat trip to see the Dolphins or view the coves and caves of the Algarve coastline or to simply relax with a drink at one of the many watering holes. Finally, there are historic buildings to enjoy whilst taking a walk and should you want to explore further car hire is available, a train station near the Marina and of course buses to all local areas. A place for young and old to enjoy.

Long term rentals are available from November to March and minimum stay is no less than 4 weeks. All utility bills to be paid for duration of stay.

| This 2nd floor apartment is set within a new development called 'Muralha'. There is an adult and separate children's pool which opened June 2011. The local beaches are a short walk away making it ideal for families and couples alike. All the amenities are within a short distance of the apartment so a car is not necessary. |
