The Cathedral city of Norwich is within 30 minutes travelling distance. Caister is a few miles away with Caister Castle, Vintage Car Display Centre etc. Also good selection of holiday entertainment/facilities/wildlife centres etc, in nearby Winterton, Scratby, Hemsby and surrounding areas. California Site itself has Club Oasis – (live music and dancing, darts-pool-disco-karaoke-caberet-Sundowner Adult Bar-competitions-bingo) and restaurant, also Oasis Swimming Pool, Amusement Centre, Fish & Chip Shop, General Store, Hire Store - bikes etc). Also within 5- 10 minute walking distance is The California Tavern pub –fine ales at reasonable prices) and restaurant which serves food all day. No more than the maximum number of persons stated on the booking form shall be permitted to occupy the accommodation booked. Chalet is usually booked Saturday to Saturday (although shorter stays can be arranged). NO ALL MALE OR FEMALE PARTIES UNDER 25yrs are accepted. Deposit of £50.00 per week to be paid at time of booking, (returnable on vacating the chalet at end of booking period – and then the full amount for the booking is due 5 weeks before start of holiday. If you book within 5 weeks of start of holiday then the full amount will be due plus the deposit. Guests are expected to leave the accommodation in a clean tidy condition and any damage or breakages notified to the owner before departure, monies will be deducted from the deposit to cover any costs or replacements. If you are compelled to cancel the holiday we will try to re-let, if we succeed, we will return the deposit to you. BED LINEN IS SUPPLIED – also tea towel, handtowel, pots/pans, crockery, iron and ironing board. The owner will not be held responsible for any injury incurred inside or in the vicinity of the chalet, or for any loss or damage to any personal effects from the chalet or vehicles. Keys to be collected at the chalet between 1pm and 2pm on day of arrival (any later arrival time than 2pm MUST be by pre-arrangement with owner. Chalet to be vacated on last day at 12 o/c when keys will be picked up and deposit returned.

The chalet is ideally placed for visiting places of interest, The Broads, Norwich City (half hour drive) Great Yarmouth Town - Beach and Quayside, shops, market, pubs etc, Roman walls,and various museums. Caister, Hemsby, (both have nice beaches) Winterton etc, lots of villages all within a few miles of the site.
