Although the Algarve in Portugal is a favorite destination with tourists it has not been spoiled in the same way as tourists destinations in Spain have. Today you will find plenty of good Algarve holiday villas that one can rent instead of staying in a hotel.
The reason for the Algarve being as popular as a holiday destination is that it has over 100 miles of beautiful beaches. Plus through out the year it expends at least 3,000 hours of sunshine. Also, here, the food is plentiful and most if it is grown or fished locally.
However when it comes to renting a villa in the Algarve you not only have to think about the cost of actually renting the property for the time you are there. But you will also need to factor in other costs including what you are going to be spending on food, car hire and of course not forgetting your flights.
When it comes to which kind of villa you will be able to rent, you will find that you have a wide selection to choose from. You can rent ones that offer you the kind of luxury you have only dreamt of to ones that are much more affordable. Plus they all come in a number of different shapes and sizes and what amenities they offer.
On average you could expect to pay anywhere between £320 ($640) to as much as £570 ($1,140) a week. But what price you pay will depend on the quality of the villa along with what time of the year you will be renting it at. Certainly renting a villa in the Algarve in the high season (June, July and August) is going too much more than, if you were to rent one in say March or September.
Also, how much you pay for your villa will depend on what amenities and facilities are offered with it. For example if you choose to rent a villa that comes with maid service and its own private swimming pool, this will cost more than one that did not.
However, what you will find is that all the villas come with fully equipped rooms and the necessary appliances to make it a home away from home. Plus they all come with satellite TV so you will still be able to keep abreast of what is happening in the world. Plus it provides you with the facility to get the children sat down and just relaxing before they go to bed each evening after a full days entertainment and enjoyment.
When deciding upon which size villa it is you want to rent you need to take into account the number of people that will staying with you. Remember the more people the bigger the villa required and the more this is going to cost to rent. However, the cost per person whilst staying in such a property is reasonable compared to what you would have to pay when staying in a hotel.
When it comes to finding your ideal Algarve holiday villas to rent for your next holiday the best place to start your search is online. Not only are you likely to find exactly what it is that you want, but you are also likely to find some great deals also.
