Holiday Villas in France and the French Riviera

There are hundreds of French Riviera holiday villas, which one can select from to stay in when visiting this part of Europe. Certainly, because this region has so much to offer from great foods and wine through to the country itself, you may well find that you have to book vacations here several times to really get a taste of it all.

Today one can choose between villas located on the French Riviera to those located in land in some of the most beautiful scenery that you are ever likely to find. In this article, we look at the locations where villas are now available to rent in France.

1. French Riviera – This is a part of France where the rich and famous like to come so the chances of you spotting one of your favorite celebrities are increased. You can either select to have a property that is located in the rolling hills looking down over the Mediterranean. But which offer you the peace and tranquillity but you are still only a short distance from the beaches, cafes and restaurants.

2. Provence – An area of France where you can live the French dream during your vacation. Along with fields covered in lavender this region of France has plenty more to offer to its visitors. Here you can try some really beautiful looking and tasting food.

3. Loire Valley – The kinds of villas you are likely to find here seem to come from a bygone age. As well as having, the chance to sample of the finest wines made in France one can spend time exploring many of the regions Gothic towns or just spend time cycling along its quiet country roads.

4. Normandy – This region of France although it has had its own turbulent past is ideal if you are looking for somewhere to relax and unwind. Yes, you can visit the sites where the D-Day landings took place or why not spend time trying some of the local delicacies at the local fish and cheese shops.

Once you have decided which part of France it is you would like to visit you now need to start arranging your accommodation. It is a good idea to spend some time comparing the various sites that now offer villas in the region that you are interested in before you actually make your booking.

When it comes to booking holiday villas in the French Riviera it is a sensible idea to try and book them well in advance of when you are actually going. Often by booking months or even a year, before you are due to travel can save you a considerable amount of money on your accommodation. Plus you may also find that if you are flexible with your vacation dates and are able to go out of season this could also save you money as well.
