Of all the three Balearic Islands to be found off the coast of Spain, Ibiza is considered to be the most beautiful of them all. Although the island has become a popular destination for young people, the island still has plenty to offer to families as well. When it comes to accommodation Ibiza apartments are often the best and probably the least expensive to be found on the island.
The reason why so many people enjoy coming to Ibiza is that along with plenty of sunshine and a great climate. It also has some really great beaches set back in coves and further inland there are mountains and forests to enjoy.
The reason why apartments are so popular with visitors to the island is not only are they much more affordable. But are often located within easy distance of all the amenities and activities that one would like to do during a holiday with the family.
However as we have mentioned the island is extremely popular with those wanting to enjoy its nightlife. So it is advisable that you try and book any accommodation for your vacation well in advance of the dates you intend to stay on the island. Also, if you intend to be visiting the island during the height of the summer then the prices, which you pay for your accommodation, are considerably higher then later or earlier in the year.
In fact, why not come and spend some time over the winter on the island. Although not hot, the weather is still good and the temperatures are often at a comfortable level of around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Plus because there are far less tourists visiting the island the chances of getting good quality, accommodation at an affordable price is much easier as well.
Although there are plenty of apartments in the more lively towns on the island, there are some that offer you peace and tranquillity as well. One such area is Puerto de San Miguel and which is a protected natural area. Here you will find plenty of open spaces and the scenery that you wake up to each morning is just stunning.
Another place which offers visitors to the island beautiful scenery, peace and quiet is Santa Eulalia. The apartments here are ideal for a summer vacation and have been designed with a more traditional Mediterranean look to them. Plus you are only a short walk (700 metres) from the beach. Plus there are plenty of walks available that will take you up to the mountaintop.
Nearly all Ibiza apartments, which one can rent during a stay on the island, come with either one or more bedrooms. They also have a living area along with a fully operating kitchen. Plus depending on the size of the apartment, they also come with more than just one bathroom. Plus they have either a terrace or a balcony allowing you unspoilt views of the area in which they are located.
