We are all glad that Prince Williiam and Kate Middleton have announced they will marry next year. Whilst the wedding preparations start, the UK is also gearing up for what will be one of the biggest celebrations in recent times. UK tourism is anticipating a boom as interest in the UK, and the Royal Family wedding increases.
As a wedding date has not been announced, and with major sporting events also happening in 2012, people may delay booking overseas trips until after the wedding. Bookmakers are also predicting August which is a peak holiday season, which may see alot of Brits staying at home in the UK to see the Royal wedding.
For inbound tour operators and people who have holiday homes in England, this will be a great and exciting time as people start looking for accomodation and other places to visit, whilst holidaying in the UK. All eyes will be on London as the wedding is broadcast worldwide, but if you are thinking of staying in the UK, or even arranging a city break, why not visit London and all the other popular tourist destinations and see what England has to offer.
