Just in case you are planning to book a flight with Ryanair anytime soon, or if you have already booked a flight with them, then this shut down could affect you.
From 22:00 on February 22 to 23:59 on February 25, the Ryanair website will not be available neither will the telephone booking system. Ryanair however say that flights between these times will not be affected and will run as normal. However this website outage will affect you if you wish to login and change existing flight details. For some reason, they have chosen to take the website down over the weekend including Sunday and Monday which is normally the busiest time of the week for online flight bookings.
The reason for the website being taken down is to allow them to change over to a new reservation system.
Also you will not be able to checkin online from 01:00hrs on the 22nd February until 23:00hrs on the 25th February 2008. However Ryanair have said that they will not charge a fee for normal checkin at the airport.
