According to the latest figures from the CAA, Bmi regional was the most punctual scheduled airline in 2006.
The figures, analysed by www.flightontime.info, showed that Bmi regional averaged delays of just 5.2 minutes across the whole year.
British Airways was 19th in the poll, with an average delay of 19.1 minutes and Virgin Atlantic scored even worse, coming 21st in the table with average delays of 26.7 minutes.
