St Ives, Cornwall is the Best Seaside Town in the UK

According to the British Travel Awards, the largest independent arbiter of public opinion on travel industry, the trophy for the best UK seaside town in the UK goes to St Ives in Cornwall. The silver award goes to Brighton, East Sussex with third place of bronze being awarded to the North Yorkshire town of Whitby.
St Ives is arguably the most famous of Cornish holiday towns, is easy to reach by road, rail. The town boasts a sub-tropical climate, warmed all year round by the Gulf Stream.
The British Travel Awards is the largest awards programme in the UK. The British Travel Awards are widely referred to as the “Oscars” of the travel industry and are easily the most recognisable of all travel industry accolades amongst consumer and industry professionals alike.
