Holidaymakers visiting Turkey face paying more for some items than although it is seen as a value destination as it is outside the Euro. As the Turkish Lira has weakened against the Sterling in the past year, Post Office Worldwide Holiday Costs Barometer reveal a high increase in popular tourist items such as meals and drinks.
Out of the worldwide table of 30 destinations, Turkey has dropped 14 places to 22nd, making it more expensive than Spain, which is the cheapest Eurozone destination.
There appears to be a general trend with every Eurozone country surveyed is cheaper than last year report the Post Office. - TravelMole
