Step 1 - Although it may seem like an extremely daunting task to book a holiday home in Tuscany it is not really. Just a quick search of the internet and you will discover there are many websites around that offer you the chance to book the right kind of accommodation very quickly and easily. But as well as websites which just deal in holiday rentals you can also sometimes find websites that owners have set up and which you are able to book accommodation through them directly.
One of the main advantages you will find to booking a property through the owner than through a holiday rental website is that you can save money. In most cases for the rental websites to make money they will charge those booking accommodation through them a fee, whereas booking direct you do not have to worry about this additional cost.
Step 2 - Look closely at the details and any photographs that have been uploaded on to the website to show you what the property is like. However, if you find there are very few details and no photographs available for viewing then move quickly on to the next holiday rental you are interested in.
Step 3 - Along with looking closely at the details of the property you need to ensure that the person you are dealing with is going to be professional in the way that they treat your booking. Look closely at all communications that they send you and if you spot, any obvious errors (grammatical etc.) move on to the next one on your list of possibles. Remember you will at some stage be handing over to them money.
At the same time, it is important that you read through any terms and conditions regarding renting properties through them. If you find that, no such information is available especially in relation to cancelling a booking then move straight on to the next one on your rental list that you are considering booking.
Step 4 - The final stage when it comes to booking rental homes is the method in which payment needs to be made. Generally most holiday rental websites and those run by the owners of the properties themselves require a deposit (usually 10%) at the time of booking. This covers them for any problems and is normally non-refundable in case a booking has to be cancelled. Then once the booking has been made, the deposit paid and then confirmed, about 2 to 3 months prior to the vacation taking place full payment may be required.
Today in order to help protect you and your personal information many people prefer for payment to be made either by credit card, through use of Pay Pal or a transfer of the funds directly from one account to another. But when paying for your Tuscany holiday rentals you should go with the one that you actually feel most comfortable using.
